This is encouraging:
Politico is reporting this afternoon that the White House is “bracing for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker to hang on in Tuesday’s recall election,” and is denying the results mean anything in the November presidential election. [H/T Politico, via Milwaukee Journal Sentinel]
We’re also learning from Exit Polls that approximately 9 in 10 voters made up their minds about this race more than one-month ago. Some are focusing on the fact that this means very few voters decided late.
However, what is interesting to note here is that those 1 in 10 voters who decided in the past few weeks could very well provide the margin of victory for either Gov. Walker or Mayor Barrett.
